History
In 1963 a small group of people from Margate and Deception Bay Baptist Churches started  a church fellowship in Kallangur in the CWA Hall. A property was purchased and the old Petrie Court House was relocated to it and renovated in 1965.
The Kallangur Baptist Church was established in 1969 with 9 members, and Decption Bay, Clontarf and Margate Baptist Churches continued to play a vital role in the life of the new church. In 1973 Malcolm Munro was called as the first pastor, although in an honorary capacity.
In 1978 the name of the church was changed to North Pine Baptist Church to represent a wider ministry to the northern end of what was then the Pine Rivers Shire and Barry Forrest was called as the new pastor with associates Paul Holden and Jeff Ireland.
Jeff Ireland succeeded Barry Forrest as Senior Pastor with Paul Holden as the Associate.
In early 1983 the church purchased the property on which the current buildings stand and the first service was held in the newly constructed "Green Room" on the 20th of November 1983. The current auditorium was constructed in 1988 and in 1996 the rear multi-purpose hall was built.
Arthur Hooker followed Jeff Ireland, with Keith Drinkall, Ian Kerr and Dan Kemp each filling the role of Senior Pastor over the following years
In 2003 the church purchased the adjoining block of land from member Lily Farmer and in 2005 Duncan Moody was called as Senior Pastor.
A more detailed presentation of the early history of the church can be viewed below.
